First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TMX Finance Family of Companies.
District Manager
So I had like three or four different people calling me from multiple states, then I finally had a phone interview. After that, I had to put on a suit and tie and do a video interview that was with the same person and same questions. Weird, if not less, but OK.
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
- What are your reasons for applying for this position?
- Can you share some insights into your current company?
District Manager
I went through the interview process but decided not to take the job. The interviewer was great and really paid attention to how I answered their questions.
- Would being away from your family and children for your first 6 months be a problem?
Regional Manager
Applied for the job, didn't hear back for two weeks so I reached out on LinkedIn to a director. Got a call from a recruiter within 2 days. We did a phone interview, and she set up a webcam interview with her and a VP. She showed up alone, asked a few questions, and ended it in 15 minutes. She said she'd call back in 30 mins with more questions but never did and didn't return my calls. I've been a Director twice and a VP once, and this was the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. My advice to anyone looking to work here is to run.
- Why did you choose TMX?
