First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TMA.
Events Manager
The interview process started out great. I first spoke with the recruiter, then had two more interviews that also went well. I thought I had the job. It was close to the Christmas holidays, so they said they'd make a final decision after the new year. I followed up a lot in January, and then by mid-February, the recruiter let me know they hired someone from inside the company. Super frustrating and unprofessional.
- Could you share your experience with us?
Teacher
The interview was pretty chill. They wanted to know my understanding of Montessori and how much experience I have with kids. I also got to share details about my schooling and previous work.
- What is your experience working with children?
- How much experience do you have with children?
- Can you discuss your educational background and work history?
Software Engineer
The interview process is pretty straightforward. You'll interview directly and then get an offer within a week. The questions are standard, but you definitely need a CS background for this role. It's a pretty lengthy process, around 30 words worth of explanation...
- Tell me about your understanding of TCP/IP.
- What do you know about networking concepts?
- Can you discuss C programming?
Designer
I had a call on the phone, then an interview for 2 hours. It started with a general round, then a technical round, followed by an HR round. After that, we discussed salary, then went for lunch. Finally, they asked for feedback on how to improve the process.
