First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tithe.ly.
People Operations Specialist
It was a really good and thorough process. They communicated well throughout. There were 3 rounds plus a written part. First was with the recruiter, then the hiring manager and team, and finally some leadership folks.
- Can you describe your experience working within a remote company culture?
Software Engineering Manager
Had a call with the recruiting manager who gave a good overview of the company. We talked about the position, needs, and growth. Then, the next day, they completely changed their tune and said they aren't filling any engineering manager roles. It seems like the company is just testing the waters and baiting candidates. Don't bother applying.
- What's your approach to managing an underperforming team member?
Software Engineer
The interview process started with a phone chat about my resume and experience. Then there was a take home assignment, which was pretty short. After that, I had a virtual technical culture fit discussion, followed by another virtual discussion. This whole process felt very long and slow, with delays in getting updates. They initially said I was going to get an offer, but then they didn't end up extending one.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- What can you share about yourself?
Product Manager
I had a really great time interviewing here! Everyone I met was super nice, genuine, and really enthusiastic about what they do. It just didn't work out this time around, but I'd totally suggest this company to other people.
- Could you describe your method for grasping a product's target audience and how to position it well?
