Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Titan Company.
Technical Manager
It was a technical interview where they asked about my past projects and experience. They also wanted to know if I had direct experience managing a team and how good my people-management skills are. The interview panel had a Team Leader, someone from HR (People Function), and a Technical Lead.
- Can you share an instance of the most challenging project you've managed, including the obstacles you encountered and how you successfully navigated them?
Management Trainee
The interview process includes a group discussion and personal interview. The first in-person interview is usually one-on-one with the hiring manager. They will ask about your experience, skills, work history, availability, and if you fit what they're looking for. After the first interview, there might be a second or even a third interview before a job offer is made.
- Can you discuss diamond sourcing?
- What do you know about the jewellery business?
- Do you have any thoughts on human resources?
Assistant Manager
I was interviewed for the Assistant Manager - Payments role. Since it's my area of expertise, the interview focused on my current job and future system integrations. After meeting with the Alliance Manager and CEO, Mr. Alokedeep, I was given an assignment to improve Titan's Payments page. I did well on the assignment and thought everything was settled. I sent in the employment form and all necessary documents, but then they became unresponsive. Instead of a decision, I'm still being kept in limbo.
- What is your current work profile?
- Provide an assignment on how to improve the Payments page / flow of Titan.co.in.
