The interview process was generally smooth, though the recruiter kept her camera off during our initial call. There was about a month's delay before the next stage. After that, I received an email stating the recruiter had left the company, and then my next interview was scheduled.

applied online. recruiter reached out, initial call was to assess skills and background and compensation expectations. 1st round - DSA - 45mins - this round had 2 developers from Tinder. talk about yourself, then DSA. 2nd round - virtual onsite - 4hours - had to build an app from scratch. I was given a document mentioning a few required features and rest was unto me on what extra to add. met 3 different senior developers who keep checking on you to provide any small feedback or answer any questions. finally, there will be 45mins at the end for them to assess your entire app and ask questions on why you went with a certain architecture or why you wrote a certain function like you did. Give weightage to write good testable code. 3rd round - hiring manager - 45mins - talk about your experience, skills and behavioral questions. overall a good experience, they interviewers were passionate, helpful and gave good feedback. I felt asking the write questions and responding to the feedback gave me an edge.

Coding Technical

The interview process started with a recruiter call which went really well. The team seemed super friendly and they did a great job explaining the company and the role. Next was an engineering interview combined with a live coding test. This was a phone call with an engineer where we coded live in a shared workspace like CoderPad. They expected code to be written without looking things up. The questions asked were some of the most impractical coding interview questions. The developers interviewing were condescending and didn't help much or clearly describe what they needed. Finally, there was an in-office interview at the West Hollywood office with the team.
