The interview process involved talking to the actual team, which was a good experience. However, the recruitment team was not good. They asked about my salary expectations early on, and after I provided them, they indicated it was within range. After finishing the interviews, I got an offer that was much lower than what we had discussed. The recruiter then told me I had only one hour to decide whether to accept or decline the offer. This lack of courtesy, even compared to a dating app like Tinder, makes me question how they treat their employees. I will not be proceeding further.

So, four rounds were involved. First, a 30min chat with the recruiter, covering general stuff about the role, including technical and behavioral aspects. Second round, another 30min chat with the recruiter, again focusing on general role questions, this time more on technical skills and checking your fit. Then, a third round, which was a case study. It had some generic questions to gauge how you think about security overall. The final round was an on-site, a pretty long 5-hour interview with six different people. It was split into four individual interviews and one 2-on-1. They covered all aspects of the job, how you'd fit in, and cultural expectations. It was exhausting, but they did include lunch. A bit of a hiccup, my case study schedule was mixed up and totally different from what they told me. Didn't end up getting an offer even though I felt I did well in the interview and case study. The recruiter did mention they decided to go with someone more junior. The overall experience was nice though, they kept in touch and the transitions between stages were smooth. I suspect the offer wasn't extended mainly because of budget reasons, and it would have been better if they'd just said that instead of saying they needed someone with less experience. But hey, that's just my take, the reality could be different. I'd still recommend Tinder for the interview process, maybe just improve the feedback communication.
