I heard back quickly from the recruiter for a standard phone interview. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, followed by a panel interview, all within two weeks. They promised to respond by the end of that week but ended up ghosting me for about a month before informing me they chose another candidate. Communication was great until they got indecisive, and I would have preferred a direct rejection.

I had a Zoom meeting with two project managers. It was more like a casual chat. They wanted to understand my experience working in teams and asked a lot about my resume. Overall, it was a really laid-back interview.

There wasn't an exam. The process involved two interview rounds. They suggested a pair coding session to give insight into the daily tasks, but I passed on that opportunity. I appreciated that they allowed candidates to discuss their experience or use it to shape the interview. I declined the offer because the compensation was insufficient for a web application requiring me to learn an outdated tech stack, making the effort not worthwhile.

I got referred by someone who works there. They had me come in for an interview but didn't make it clear what position it was for when they set it up. It wasn't a hard interview, mostly asking about my experience and then they told me about the job and company. It was pretty nice. HR emailed the next business day to say they decided to go with another candidate.
