I was contacted directly by the Head of Marketing. We had a 1-on-1 interview where they asked questions to understand my current role and see if I was a good fit. No trick questions or hypothetical scenarios were presented. The whole process involved two interviews.

The recruiter interview was really quick and the recruiter seemed a bit scattered, talking over most of the time. When they did ask about my background, it felt more like they were trying to figure out how other companies do things instead of asking about experience relevant to this specific role. Honestly, it was a pretty poor candidate experience overall.

I had two interviews that went pretty well, though I was left in the dark for a while later and HR told me they were putting the position on hold for now but that they could see a future for me there and would be in touch as soon as the position reopens. I never heard back. A few weeks later, I find out from my direct Manager at my current company (big competitor of TO) that TimeOut tried to hire her for that same position. I cannot believe the audacity for doing such a thing. If TimeOut didn't think I was senior enough for the position, they should have simply told me the truth instead of pretending the position was put on hold while they try to poach my Manager instead. Completely put me off ever wanting to work there.

So, first there was a phone screening with the recruiter. They were interested in my background and even set up the call after work hours, which was really cool. Then I interviewed with the GM, who told me more about the job and the company. The last interview was with the Finance Director, and they focused on my specific skills for the role. I got the offer about a week after that. The whole thing took about 6 weeks, and everyone was super friendly and communicative.
