First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tilden Preparatory.
Instructor
The interviewer was welcoming and encouraged questions throughout. They were very clear about the hourly pay, benefits, and how scheduling works. A significant part of the interview focused on assessing my knowledge and experience in teaching students using various methods.
- Can you describe how you would teach a math concept and adapt your methods for different learning styles?
Teacher
The interview process was really fast and simple, but looking back, it was kind of misleading. I got hired just two days after starting the interview process. Upper management gave me information that wasn't quite right about what the job actually involves.
- Tell me about your experience teaching students with learning differences.
Teacher
It starts with a call from the Head of School, then there's an in person interview. You'll also have a content expertise interview with the Department Head and do a mock lesson.
- Tell me about your experience working with students who have learning differences.
