First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tiger Data.
Recruiter
The interview process with TigerData was super clear and organized, making it easy to navigate. They kept me in the loop all the way, and I always knew what to expect for the job and the interview steps. I had chats with the hiring manager and two team folks. One part was a technical interview, and another was a behavioral one. The interviews were really engaging and well-managed. The interviewers were upfront about what the team does, the tough stuff they're dealing with, and what success looks like. They even sent over useful info and background stuff beforehand, which made the interviews feel like we were both prepared and it was a good use of time. The last interview was with the Chief People Officer, and they gave me more insights into the company's plans, its culture, and where it's headed. All in all, it was a smooth, open, and professional experience. The transparency throughout the process really helped me figure things out, and the team's vibe was genuinely positive, making the job seem really appealing.

Recruiting Coordinator
The interview process was fantastic. After being unemployed for about 2 months, my first interview with the People Operations Manager at Timescale was a turning point. I had a spreadsheet tracking almost 100 applications submitted during that time, including statuses and interview details. I'd never experienced such a mutual and positive connection with an interview team before. Everyone was welcoming, humorous, and genuinely interested in me as a person. My process involved: 1. Interview with the POPs Manager. 2. Interview with several members of the Recruiting Team. 3. Interview with the VP of People. 4. Reference checks with two provided individuals. 5. A brief interview with the CEO. It was a pretty laid-back process, reflecting Timescale's focus on the quality of their people and their dedication to getting to know each candidate.
- What drives your engagement at work?
- Can you describe your methods for staying organized?
- What are your aspirations for career growth and professional development?
