I met with the HR director, district manager, and director of operations, and then I got the job. They extended an offer, and I did my training in the store for 6 weeks. After that, I was ready to manage my own store.

It was a standard casual interview. The store manager read from a list of required company questions, asking about my past experiences. The manager made the hiring decision based on my answers. The questions were pretty standard.

The interview process was handled professionally, but it seemed like more of a formality. I know I was one of about 50 applicants. It's frustrating because how are people supposed to gain experience if they can't even get their foot in the door? I have a 4-year degree and still can't be considered for a simple entry-level job.

The interview process was really fast, they stressed the job duties a lot. They explained the pay and chances for promotion really clearly. They were quick to let me know if I got the job or not. Communication was great and they set clear expectations. They also explained the training well and what to expect next. Since it was COVID, everything was done over video call, which helped with my nerves.
