The process was pretty straightforward. They contacted me a few months after I applied to schedule an initial conversation. I spoke with the hiring manager and then went through a few more rounds with different people on the team. After the last set of interviews, I didn't hear back, which was disappointing. When someone gets to the final stage, they deserve some kind of update, even if it's just a quick message.

I had a really good experience with Tier's hiring, it was professional, fast, and fair. I saw the job on LinkedIn and about a week later, an HR person emailed me for a first video interview with the team Lead. It went fine, and I got through. Then, luckily, I had an in-person interview at their office to meet the team. Since my job involves working closely with others, I really liked that they made sure it was a good fit for everyone. After that, the team lead called me, and I was happy to accept the offer sent by HR. We had a short chat about the start date, and Tier was really flexible, then HR sent all the details and the contract.

I got contacted about an interview and we set up a time/date for a phone chat. About 10 mins after it was supposed to start, I emailed the HR person to check if we were still on and didn't hear back. I sent another email 30 mins after the interview time and got a reply from the interviewer saying she was sick and not working that day. The HR rep then asked if I could suggest other dates or times, and I said any day/time was fine. Another day went by and I emailed again but still no response. I was, and still am, confused by it all.

Had a 30-minute chat with HR first, then a 1-hour interview with the Director who is the hiring manager. After that, there was a longer interview with a committee of three people: an Enterprise Architect, a Manager, and a VP. They offered me the job after the third interview. Once I accepted, I signed the offer letter and an NDA online, and then had to pass a drug screen and background check. It was a really good experience.
