The interview process was pretty typical: a screener with HR, a 30-minute online meeting with a hiring manager, and then an hour-long on-site interview. The screener and online chats gave me a solid grasp of the company's work. I was really keen. But the team interview was odd. The interviewers were really serious and didn't smile at all. And lots of the questions felt like an interrogation, like 'what do you mean by "X"?' with intense focus. They told me I wasn't a good 'fit' in the end, but honestly, if that was the team I'd be working with, it wouldn't have been the right fit for me either.

Had a first interview with talent acquisition, they recommended me for step two, which was with a full time project manager. Spoke with this person for about an hour to get a feel for the job and required skills. The second interviewer said I'd be moving on to a third round and they'd contact me within 48 hours. I never heard back, and my follow-up emails went unanswered, so I moved on. A month later, I got a rejection email. The company seems disorganized, and I wouldn't recommend them.

The interview process started with two recruiters from my university, and it was a relaxed setting with two other prospects. They wanted to get to know us and it was easy to connect with them. After that, they arranged for a rental car to take me to the Cincinnati office. Once there, I had a schedule to spend an hour with three different people. I had lunch with a marketing support employee who was very nice. Then, I met with one of the original recruiters again, with whom I had already built a good rapport. The experience at the office was great. Finally, I met one of the founders for coffee. Although our conversation went well, I didn't get the job. After this extensive process and positive feedback throughout, I never heard back from anyone. After several follow-up calls, I finally received a rejection email, but it wasn't even from the people I interviewed with.

TiER1 really nailed the interview process. I spent the whole day meeting with over 5 different people and groups, which gave me a great sense of the company and how they improve performance. They're super open about how they tackle business problems and talk about how exciting their work is. It was awesome to see everyone genuinely loving their jobs.
