Got a call to set up an interview about a week and a half out. I met with the hiring manager, who was really nice and seemed energetic. In the end, my schedule just didn't line up with what they needed.

After a detailed job posting, HR reached out quickly. The interview process was well-organized, involving both HR and two SVPs. It felt like a really positive experience, and everyone involved seemed engaged and organized. I got feedback within 48 hours after the final interview.

Behavioral Presentation

I arrived and was impressed by the building and the company values. The receptionist was nice, but I noticed all the women there wore high heels. The owner, who was supposed to interview me, was 20 minutes late and said he was testing my patience. He gave me a tour and joked about running for Senate. When the interview started, I expected to discuss the role, but we never did. Instead, he asked if I'd seen his blog and about my camera. He made a dismissive comment about my camera. He then asked if I'd freelance, demanding a response within four hours, which was unrealistic. I followed up the next day accepting the freelance offer, but never heard back. I couldn't take the interview seriously; it was unprofessional, and he was more focused on himself than the job, leaving me with more questions.
