It started professionally, then there was a two-week silence before a two-hour third interview. After that, still no news for over two weeks. I sent a polite email asking for an update, but got no reply. As it entered the third week of silence, I sent another email hoping for a professional response. Instead of a reply, I received an automated rejection email. It was very unprofessional!

Behavioral Presentation

I had a recruiter screen that went well, then I showed my work to the hiring manager. After that, I presented to a group of designers and people from other departments. The scheduling for the presentation part was a mess; it took forever to get responses from the recruiters. They even changed how long the presentation needed to be at one point, and I was passed between three different recruiters who didn't seem to know what the others were doing. About a week after the interview, I got a vague rejection email.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved a hiring manager chat, a portfolio review, and some cross-functional interviews with a PM and Engineer. Scheduling was challenging due to coordinating across four time zones. Despite acing the interviews, I was ultimately deemed overqualified. The process felt a bit disorganized. In the future, I would seek clarification on the team's specific needs beforehand.
