First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ThumbStopper.
Customer Success Manager
I had two separate zoom calls, one with HR and one with the VP Customer Success (who I would report to). This was during COVID - normally you would go in for the interview.
- Have you worked for a smaller company before?
- What makes you a good fit for Thumbstopper?
- Did you research our company?
User Experience Designer
I had one interview with a recruiter who was really nice and wanted to know more about the job she was hiring for because she didn't know much about it. We discussed salary in this first interview, but it didn't really match what I was looking for.
- Could you describe your design process?
Marketing
The interview process was great and very thorough. I interviewed with a panel of people who asked really good and relevant questions. It was clear they take hiring seriously.
- Could you outline a high-level marketing plan for us?
Full Stack Developer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an introductory interview, followed by a tech interview, and then a coding challenge. HOWEVER, BEWARE! If they extend an offer, they might withdraw it less than a week later, even after you've resigned from your current job. This felt like the most two-faced process I've ever experienced.
- Can you explain what microservice software design is?
