The interview seemed to go pretty well, I thought. The hiring manager seemed excited about bringing me on board. But then, when I got the offer letter, it was for a different position. I asked the recruiter about it, but they gave me very little explanation, just saying it wasn't a mistake. It felt really unprofessional and shady, so I turned down the offer.

Had an initial interview over Microsoft Teams. They also did a drug screening (hair) and a background check. The onsite interview was on the same day. They seemed really eager to hire Engineers because the whole team left in mid-2022. The computers and office equipment here are like from the 1990s.

Applied through another source, and the whole process took about 3 months. About a week after applying, I got a call from the HR recruiter for a general phone screen. A few weeks after that, the face-to-face interview was scheduled. It was a panel interview and the questions were based on a personality assessment. Some questions were medium difficulty, and some were difficult.
