First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thriveworks.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The interview process has 2 steps and is very straightforward. The hiring team is very responsive and answers any questions you may have. The process moves quickly. It focuses on diagnosis management, flexibility with scheduling, managing difficult patients, and ADHD treatment guidelines. Pay and benefits were discussed during the first phase.
- How would you manage ADHD in a school-age child compared to an adult?
Enrollment Specialist
It's a 3 round process, and it's pretty easy. If you get through the first two rounds, you basically have the job. Just make sure to focus on sales and integrity and how you overcome objections. After that, it's smooth sailing. It's a great remote job, but your schedule can change every 6 months, which might be a bit of a hassle.
- Can you tell me about your integrity and your approach to customer service?
- Describe your integrity and customer service skills.
Director of Sales
The interview process was brief, thankfully. I spoke with a recruiter first, then the hiring manager. The second time I spoke with the hiring manager, she mentioned I was a top contender and wanted me to meet with three Director & VP level stakeholders. These interviews happened over the next few weeks, and the feedback was positive. Then, radio silence. The recruiter sent a message saying they were still interested and needed another week for other interviews. I followed up the following week, and the recruiter asked if I had other offers, saying they needed more time. I said I'd wait for their update. Still nothing. The next week, I followed up directly with both the hiring manager and recruiter, expressing my continued interest. And guess what... NOTHING! I haven't even received a rejection email. Really poor form, Thriveworks. Please respect the time of candidates who put in the effort to prepare and interview multiple times.
- How do you approach collaboration, and what's your style?
- Can you share your experience with value-based care?
- Tell me about your typical deal sizes and how long they take to close.
Data Entry Administrative Assistant
I had a really great time interviewing for the Remote Data Entry Administrative Assistant job at Thriveworks. I'm so happy to be joining a company focused on making mental health care better, and the interview process was really professional and nice. They were super responsive and helpful from the start, keeping me updated and communicating clearly and on time. I liked how they used new tech to make things efficient. During the interview, I felt respected and treated kindly. The interviewer knew a lot and was passionate, and they answered all my questions. They also shared a lot of details about the job and the company. It was an awesome experience, and I think Thriveworks really cares about its employees and improving mental health care in cool ways. I'm excited to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking team and see what happens next!
- What are your expectations for a work environment and the kind of manager you'd like to have?
