I interviewed with the lead copywriter and marketing manager at their Santa Cruz office. It was an easygoing interview with 2 people that have been with Threshold for many years. Afterward, I had a quick chat with the HR manager where we discussed pay and benefits. The pay for this role was really low and I would've declined had I been offered. The $20-$30 pay range just will not cut it in California.

I went through 4 interviews. The first was a simple written test. The second was a 'Social Interview' where we were split into teams and had to figure out the top 3 attributes of a team player. Threshold employees watched and gave feedback. The third was a computer test where I had to compile info in Excel, write a welcome letter, and type a memo while correcting errors. The last interview was a panel, which felt low-key but also a bit like a psychology experiment.
