First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thread HCM.
Sales Consultant
They were super into understanding my personality, starting with a personality type assessment. Then I had to do a recorded video interview that I could edit, followed by a SAT-style test to gauge my strengths. After that, there was a live video interview and then onsite interviews including both 1:1s and panel sessions. There might even be a team happy hour thrown in, and potentially more personality profiles to make sure I'd fit in well with the team.
- What is one positive attribute your closest friend would mention about you?
Business Development Representative
I went in twice to meet the team. I had to email them a script and take a personality test. After passing those, they asked for two references. They said they'd get back to me after the references checked out, but then they ghosted me and never responded to my emails. It was a complete 180 from before. I hate wasting my references' time, and this process did just that. References should only be contacted if you're planning to hire, and only at the very end to confirm everything. Please be professional.
- What's the most recent thing you've learned?
Payroll Specialist
It was good up until they gave me a test. The test wasn't related to the job, it was more like a guess-what-it-is or use-what-you-know kind of thing. I'm not sure how this kind of test shows if you're a good fit for the job or not.
- Do you have an Android or an iPhone?
- Give me a reason not to hire you.
