So I interviewed for a Senior Consultant QA Analyst role at ThoughtWorks. The whole process was kinda long, it had five rounds in total. The first three were tech focused, like, really digging into automation and how things work functionally. You'll get standard LeetCode type coding problems, and they really check your core coding knowledge. Also, they wanted to see how good I am at functional and non-functional testing, and if I understand system architecture and can create test strategies for a senior QA role. The last two rounds weren't technical, more about leadership and fitting into the company culture. They looked at leadership skills, if you're a good cultural fit, and if you can make a good impact. It was a pretty good experience overall. The people interviewing were really nice and helped out when I was stuck.

The interview process is super human and comfortable. At no point during the interviews did I experience any discomfort or feel like employees were just numbers. It was definitely the best and longest selection process I've been through. There were 5 stages with different people from various regions of the country. The interviewers, each with a specific focus for their stage, were well-prepared to provide reassurance throughout. HR was amazing from start to finish and with the feedback.

First I had a call with the recruiter. Then there was a pair coding round where they asked competitive programming questions. They didn't ask any questions about automation testing using Selenium. They also gave an exam for QA testing that involved solving some math problems. Other companies usually provide questions in advance and discuss the solutions during the interview. The interviewer acted like they were doing me a favor and then just decided I wasn't selected on their own. Later, the recruiter called to say I wasn't selected and wasn't prepared for the interview, which I found really weird because no recruiter would call to insult a candidate further like that.
