I didn't pass the online test. It had a total of 26 questions. The first question was a 300-word essay to be completed in 10 minutes, choosing one topic out of two: 'Your hobbies and how technology helped you' or 'Teamwork vs individual work'. Then there were 20 aptitude questions, some easy, some average, and 1-2 difficult ones. It's best to concentrate on logical reasoning, questions with statements and a passage, and data interpretation to find the order of arrangement based on the given data. The last and most important part was 5 questions on company values, which is where I messed up.

The interview process started with a 10-minute essay on what it's like to work at Thorogood or the challenges of relocating for work. This was followed by a 40-minute aptitude test with data sufficiency and interpretation questions, described as easier than CAT level, with 24 questions needing quick answers. Then, there was a 10-minute segment about the company and its values. The second stage was an interview focusing on projects and behavioral questions. For projects, it felt like a collaborative brainstorming session to improve them and discuss redesigns, involving a lot of reasoning. It seems like they prioritized IT and CS backgrounds for the next stages, even if candidates did well in the interview, because Thorogood is an IT consulting firm. A friend with an IT background got an easy coding question about finding the second largest number in an array, and her web development projects were highlighted.

They ask you a ton of questions about specific experiences you have from different scenarios. My interviewer was drilling me follow up with questions regarding my answers. Asked me why my clients wanted me to do certain tasks and the purpose of my projects for them. Also asked me who my clients were. I thought that was super unprofessional and confidential information for my current company. Seemed like she wanted to “verify” if I was telling to truth, but that’s not something you should really ask. Should’ve asked about how I did something, not my past client’s information.
