I did a maths test and competency questions. The hr department was very approachable and provided great service. They were thorough throughout the whole process. I really recommend them, they were fast and the people are dynamic.

The hiring process involves a few steps to get new people on board. We usually start by writing up what the job entails, then we put it out there for people to see. After that, we set up times for interviews, do a quick chat first, then a longer one in person, and finally, we let people know how it went and offer the job to the chosen candidate.

The entire interview process lasted about three weeks and included two interviews. First, I had an interview with the store manager at the location I applied to. They called me back within a few days and scheduled a second interview with the district manager for the following week. The process was smooth, and they asked standard questions.

I was interviewed by a regional manager and a store manager. One asked questions while the other took notes. There were a lot of STAR-type questions, situational questions, and 'how,' 'what,' 'who,' 'if,' etc. questions. They also talked through my CV and asked about how I motivated my teams previously, what KPIs I used, and how I maintained or achieved them.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Regarding transitioning back to store level from operations manager, how would you approach that?
  • Given the significantly slower pace here, how would you adapt to it?
