It was a virtual group interview with 5 other candidates from across the US for the same brand. The interviewer was really nice and friendly! But, I do agree with another poster that they might be judging based on a "certain look." They send this message in the follow-up email instead of saying "rejected": "We appreciate your time and patience as we review all candidates. We'll be in touch soon if you're selected to fill the position. If not, we'll keep you on our waitlist for future opportunities with all of our ThirdChannel brands." This really turned me off from ThirdChannel, and I would have preferred a simple rejection over a fake "wait list."

This was a HUGE waste of time and had some BIAS. I applied for 3 different positions. I have over 8 years of retail experience and a college degree, but they said I wasn't qualified. They were really unprofessional and seemed to be looking for a specific 'look' for their clients. But brands like Adidas are trying to reach different ethnicities to buy their products! I wouldn't suggest applying here unless you're Caucasian. It was very biased. I'm also going to report them to Lanor.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The interview was in a group setting, which felt like lazy practice.
  • There was no individual one-on-one interview.

Behavioral Presentation

After you fill out the online application, they'll give you a call to set up a phone interview. They'll ask some basic questions and it'll only take about 10 minutes. After that, you'll need to send in a video explaining why you'd be a great fit for the job. The more creative your video is, the better it'll help them decide between the top candidates in your area.

I applied online and we used Google Hangouts for the interview. The interviewer asked me some questions and the rest of the interview was about how the program functions—scheduling, store visit, training. Rest of the interview was me asking more questions about the position. The interviewer who interviewed me was very nice and that really helped me relax.

  • What are the two things I must do when I visit the area?
