The interview process started with a 3-hour take-home task involving two problems, one general and one product-related. While not strictly QA-focused, the problems were manageable. My solutions were well-received, leading to the next stage. The second step was an interview with a member of the testing and support team, where I had to solve another problem live. The approach to solving it was crucial; failure to do so would result in not proceeding. Unfortunately, after the interview, I realized the solution presented by the interviewer wasn't entirely accurate from my perspective. I'll let them continue their search for that 'unique' candidate who can solve everything their way.

I applied for a software testing position previously. During the technical interview, I was given a challenge that required me to use their software, and I only had three hours to complete it. I did the interview, but I felt it was unfair for a company to expect someone to use new software in such a short period and also solve the task at that time. Usually, companies give at least a week for a take-home technical challenge, but it was different here. Honestly, it was overwhelming since I was also applying for a junior role.

There was an online assessment first, then two interview rounds. The first round was 3 hours long with the leader of the software testing team, and I had to troubleshoot technical computer issues while explaining my thought process. The final round was with the CEO.
