I applied via employee referral and then the recruiter scheduled a meeting to discuss my application. They were knowledgeable and friendly, asking standard questions like an introduction and why I applied. After a delay, the hiring managers interviewed me. They were also friendly and asked many behavioral questions to gauge my experience. I was expecting a response within two weeks, but heard nothing. My attempts to reach the recruiter for an update or confirmation of rejection were ignored. My application status was later updated to 'no longer under consideration' on their portal, which I discovered weeks later. I'm unsure when this happened. It was unprofessional to not respond, especially since they ultimately rejected my application.

The hiring process involves these steps: First, a generic HR Round to check your background and if you're a good fit. Then, you need to submit your resume in Workday. After that, you'll prepare a PPT presentation on a given topic. If they like it, you present that same PPT in a 10-minute session to two interviewers. Right after the presentation, there's a competency-based interview where you answer questions about your skills and competencies for the role. Was told to wait 2 weeks for feedback, but dint receive any feedback. Got ghosted.

I first networked with some leaders at Thermo Fisher and also went to a webinar for the Clinical Trials division. About three weeks later, a recruiter emailed me saying she'd be in touch soon to schedule a call, but she never did. Then, three weeks after that, a different recruiter contacted me. We had a great phone chat about open roles and my experience. She thought I'd be a good fit and said she'd be reaching out soon with next steps. After several weeks and many follow-ups, she never replied, and I haven't heard anything since. Honestly, it was a super frustrating experience, felt like the recruitment teams weren't on the same page and they didn't communicate well with candidates.
