The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes but actually went for about an hour. It felt pretty informal, and I spoke with both the hiring manager and the apprenticeship manager. They asked me questions about my background, things I enjoyed in school, and my hobbies.

First, a recruiter contacted me for an initial chat. Then, there were two rounds of interviews. I wasn't selected for the first role, but they considered me for another Field Service Engineer position because the hiring manager liked me. Unfortunately, the recruiter I was working with went on maternity leave, and I was essentially ghosted. I was told another recruiter would reach out, but instead, the hiring manager from the first interview called and said someone would contact me soon. No one did, and when I checked my application status online, I was no longer being considered. I don't think I was the right fit, but better communication would have been appreciated.
