First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Customer Service Associate
The interview process was straightforward and well-managed, with timely communication. It felt more like a natural conversation than an intense interrogation, which can be common in other biotech companies. There are a total of 3 rounds. I've completed the first two and will be having the third round, which is an in-person panel interview, soon.

Customer Service Representative
So I had this interview, it was pretty basic at first, with two rounds total. The second round was a bit strange, though. The manager was upfront about how busy and short-staffed they are, basically saying they don't want me to leave my current job just to leave them later if it doesn't work out. I was surprised but respected the honesty. The recruiter called to offer me the job, and I even completed my PI form. But after that, I was completely ghosted. I tried to follow up, thinking maybe the holiday played a part, but it's been almost two weeks now. I'm disappointed and feel uncomfortable after doing both an in-person and a virtual interview. It feels like a waste of my time.

Customer Support Representative
So first you apply on the website, and then there's a first round, which is like a general HR phone call that lasts about 30 minutes. They'll check your background, why you want the job, if you know any other languages, and what you're looking to earn. Then, if that goes well, you'll have a second round with the manager for the department to go deeper into things and talk about the job. Sometimes, a third round might be needed, but if not, they'll either offer you the job or let you know if it didn't work out.
