First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Therapeutic Alliance.
Credentialing Specialist
Had a first call with the recruiter, standard questions. Then they asked for my email, which was weird cuz it's on my resume. Second interview was a zoom with two people, one mostly listened, the other asked good questions about the role. Third interview was with the same person who asked questions before, basically because they had concerns. I guess they didn't feel my answers were confident enough, even though it's what I just did successfully in my last job. The process wasn't awful, but the recruiter seemed a bit clueless and didn't tell me I didn't get the job for over a week. Lots of apologies and excuses. Pretty sure I dodged a bullet.
- What makes you want to apply for this role?
QMHP-C
The interview was conducted virtually and felt very professional. It was about 30 minutes long, and I actually got the job offer right after the interview. The questions were pretty easy, and the interviewer was nice.
- Can you tell me about your past experience working in mental health?
BCBA
I applied for the Remote BCBA position and heard back from HR in under a week. They set up a Zoom interview with the local site director. The leadership and HR team were friendly and asked questions that were spot-on for the role. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the job and were really upfront with their responses.
- How do you approach working within a team environment?
QMHP
It was a standard interview, which is currently done via Zoom or video call. They asked typical QMHP questions. You should know why you want to do this job and be ready to talk about it. Also, have some experience working with mentally ill clients and be ready to share that.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What would you do if...?
- Do you work better with loose or close supervision?
