First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Theorem.
Client Service Analyst
The interview process included an aptitude test which was very easy, a group discussion where you just need to speak on the topic, a technical round, and an HR round. I felt they were mainly focusing on Mysore students. They provided a free cab around the city. BE graduates shouldn't attend as it's not useful for you all.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Are you ok with working night shifts?
- Could you answer some basic questions about your resume?
Client Service Analyst
There were 4 rounds in the interview process. First was an aptitude test which was medium difficulty. Next, a group discussion which was easy, with a simple topic to discuss. Then, an essay writing task, also easy. Following that, a technical round with medium difficulty, focusing on questions related to the role. Finally, an HR round.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- How do you manage situations under pressure?
Product Manager
I applied online and went through an asynchronous interview with 6 questions. It felt super awkward and unnatural, and I didn't answer any of the questions well. Even though the company responded to negative Glassdoor feedback, I can't see many people doing well in this format. I got rejected and was told they aren't moving forward with my application.
- Tell me about yourself (1 min)
- What's a product you use, what feature would you add, and why do you think it's not already there? (1 min)
- How technical are you? What are you comfortable and uncomfortable with technically? (1 min)
Tech Lead
I was contacted by an agency about an immediate opening for a Tech Lead UI role at Theorem India. The process started with a video call for technical discussion. This was followed by a take-home assignment due within 48 hours, requiring a git link submission. Next, there was a Managerial discussion and finally, an HR discussion. The HR part was quite frustrating as they tried to negotiate salary despite initial salary expectations being shared. My advice is to only proceed with an interview if candidate salary expectations are agreeable upfront. They did negotiate during the final HR discussion, offering a position with only a 9% increment on previous salary plus a 10% variable pay. Initially, they said the position was on hold, then after 10 days, they came back with this offer.
