First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Wireless Experience.
Sales Manager
It was a quick and simple interview process. They asked general sales-related questions, focusing more on prior sales experience rather than specific cellular industry background. They didn't include any role-playing or questions about strengths or weaknesses.
- What aspects of sales do you find most enjoyable?
Sales Specialist
I applied online and got a call for an interview. After that, I was called in for a second interview. It was really interactive, you had to listen carefully to answer. It felt different because the interviewer was approachable, and I felt I could be myself and answer honestly.
- How would you sell Home security to a customer who came into the store to buy a new phone?
Sales Representative
They asked if I'd sell whatever it takes to hit sales targets, if I'm a team player, and if I'm good in a sales setting. Also asked about computer and POS system skills.
- Are you a closer?
Store Manager
First there was a phone screen, then I had a 1 on 1 in person meeting with my manager and after that with the district manager. If I got the job, then there was a background check and drug screen. After they got the results they called me to start training. That's it.
- Can you tell me about your sales and managerial background and experience, particularly focusing on sales situations you've encountered and how you resolved them?
