First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Wendy's Company.
Recruiter
Had 3 interviews - a phone call and then 2 panel interviews. I thought the interview format was a bit intense for entry/lower-level roles, especially since this isn't Google. After the panels, I waited 3 weeks just to be told no. Clearly, they were waiting to see if someone "better" would accept before declining me. The talent department really needs to improve their communication.
- Can you describe a time you took a risk on a project despite others having doubts? What was the specific risk, how did you evaluate it, and what was the outcome?
Crew
It wasn't very difficult. There was a waiting area, and they called people one by one. Then there was a group interview. If you were selected, they'd call you; otherwise, they wouldn't. They prefer people who aren't studying so they have more working hours.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
IT Project Manager
The interview experience was very engaging, with both technical and behavioral questions. A panel interview was the second round, and it was a chance to meet the team. Overall, I had a very positive experience with the interview process.
- Can you tell me about your data management experience?
HR
Scheduling the interview took a while, but it was a mix of virtual and then in-person meetings. The time between these was about what you'd expect from other companies. I met with three people for a panel interview: the hiring manager and two team members.
- Can you share details about your previous HR experiences?
- How long did you work in your previous HR positions?
- What skills did you bring to your past HR roles?
