First there was a written test. Then, I was asked some personality questions. The last part of the interview was spent talking about my personal projects. It was formal for the first half, and the last part was more informal to get me to understand the work culture and some of the things I might have to work on.

The interview process was pretty simple. First, I had a phone call with a recruiter for a screening. After they looked at my resume and verified my background, I went to their office in NJ for an in-person interview.

I got a call to set up an interview, but after we picked a date, I never got the confirmation email the recruiter promised. A week before the interview, I emailed the VMC group about rescheduling because of a personal thing, but they didn't write back. I called the number and they said they'd email me about rescheduling, but still nothing. If you send an email to the wrong person, you should at least follow up to let them know. Mistakes happen. If you get a call from the VMC group about an interview, make sure you have a confirmation email.

My first interview was on the phone and it was a very introductory, talk about your resume - type. I just walked through my resume and answered a few behavioral questions. I got a call back very quickly. I talked to the talent acquisition representative and she was a great interviewer. I got an offer after the first interview, the process was very quick and easy.
