The process started with a conference call with some faculty. After that, I had to prepare a power point presentation about a topic they sent me a week before the interview. They then paid for my travel to the campus. Once I was there, I gave my presentation and then met with the vp of academic affairs and the president of the university.

I talked with a professor, and we had a short interview, and then they gave me a tour of the lab. Since I had taken a class with the professor before, we already knew each other.
