The whole thing took a bit. First, there was a phone interview. Then, an in-person interview where I met with a few people. This part included a project or assignment. Lastly, I had a final interview with the CEO. The assignment itself was quite time-consuming, but I actually appreciated that it was a thorough process, as it gave me a better sense of the company culture and what the job would actually entail.

The process felt pretty disorganized. I first got an email from a recruiter to fill out some questions. After I sent those in, I got a request for an interview with only one day/time offered. It took 2-3 days to hear back after I replied with my availability. I followed up and we scheduled an interview for the next day. The interview itself was fine, the person was nice. They didn't ask about my experience, qualifications, or interest. I was told there would be two more rounds and they wanted to hire fast (within 2 weeks). A week later, I still hadn't heard back, so I emailed the recruiter for an update. It's been a few days with no response, which is frustrating. I'd rather get a rejection than no response at all. It feels disrespectful and might indicate what working there is like.

The interview process was really long and complicated. It involved a project that took a lot of hours to finish. Trevor is super focused on cultural fit, so even if you have the experience, they might not be interested if you don't fit culturally. This whole process probably shows how complicated their culture is. I bet if you like to get stuff done quickly, you wouldn't like working there. I started interviewing in April and didn't finish the process before being rejected in June.
