First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Training Associates.
Talent Recruitment Specialist
I had a video call with someone from the recruiting team about the job. She was very friendly and said she'd get back to me in a few days. It's been about a month since then, and I haven't heard anything, not even after I emailed them a couple of weeks later.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Support
The COO and sales assistant told me a lot about religion, saying the owners were very religious and I had to be tolerant. They also mentioned that the CEO and President fought a lot, and I would have to tolerate slamming doors and swearing. I was also told that the CEO and President might ask me to do things outside my job description, like washing the CEO's car and vacuuming. The job itself seemed as advertised, but all this extra information was strange.
- Would you be alright with receiving religious emails from the owners?
Telemarketer
The interview for Telemarketing Associate was pretty simple. It was a two hour interview with the company owner, sales team lead, sales team supervisor, and HR director, (in that order). It included a typing test and a Wonderlic aptitude test. The interview is a typical experience-based interview. To get ready for this, practice the wonderlic test a few times, take a typing test online, and check out their website. If you do that, and have good answers for questions about your experience, you should do alright.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Consultant
The interview process really depends on the client. I had a few interviews, including one on Skype. It started with individual interviews and then moved to interviews with two people at a time. The client handled the last two interviews. This client uses "top grading" for their interviews.
- Be prepared to deliver a brief, impromptu training session lasting 2 to 5 minutes.
