I submitted an online application and got a call for a phone interview about a week later. The phone interview was pretty basic, with some behavioral questions and questions about my resume. The interviewer mentioned the next step would be a case study, which I'd have a few days to prepare for. I thought it went well, but then I was told a few days later that the job was filled and I didn't need to do the case study. Not sure what happened, but that's how it ended for me.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process was serious about cultural fit. It began with a screening call that reviewed my resume and past experience. Next, I had in-person interviews with 5 different employees from various departments, each lasting about 30 minutes. These interviews were stress-free and comfortable, focusing on getting to know me, my interests and goals, and how I think and work. They wanted to ensure I'd be comfortable and confident in front of clients. The final stage was a take-home case study, a simplified version of daily tasks, for which I had a few days to prepare a deck. I then presented this to two people. It was a refreshing change from other finance interviews; everyone seemed genuinely excited about their careers and the company, which really helped me decide.

I really didn't like that they wanted a presentation without pay. Other than that, the people were nice and friendly. I would have continued if it wasn't for the presentation.
