Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Trade Desk.
Client Service Associate
The interview went pretty smooth, everyone there is just so friendly and supportive. Just finished the second round data interview and waiting for notice about the final panel interview. First round was an HR recruiter screen where they dug deep in my experience of handling situations with a data-driven mindset. Second round was a data presentation where two directors on the team listened to my presentation. The final round hasn't happened yet but it will be an on-site panel.
- What led you to select these specific metrics for performance evaluation, and what's your reasoning behind that choice?
Client Service Associate
The whole thing took like 3 months. First there was a screening, then a presentation interview, and the last step was an on-site interview. The recruiter was really helpful, texting and calling me. But after I didn't get an offer, I just got an automated email and never heard from them again. It's a bummer how that worked out. When you don't get the offer, they totally ignore you. I thought they were a great company, but this experience really soured me on them.
- Can you share an instance where you analyzed data to inform a decision?
Client Services Manager
So, there were five rounds total. It kicked off with a recruiter screening. Then, there were a bunch of meet-the-team rounds, scheduled separately. Finally, there was a panel presentation where they gave me the topic ahead of time.
- Can you describe how you adjust your approach to working with different collaborators?
