I applied for a Director of Business Development role and the TA Team reached out soon after to schedule an interview, which I had to book myself. I prepped for it, but the recruiter cancelled it four minutes beforehand due to an internal meeting. She then asked for my availability over the next four days, and I let her know I could make myself available any time she chose. I didn't hear back for those dates. After following up twice with no response, she called me eight days later while I was gardening, asking if it was a good time to chat. We had a quick ten-minute screening call. It felt rushed and she seemed distracted. It was disappointing given my prior positive experiences with the company.

Behavioral Presentation Case

The interview process began with an introductory call with function leads. For BD/AM roles, this intro round includes both BD and AM function leads to better assess fit. Following this, there was a panel round where I presented to a panel of all function leads (BD, AM, Inventory Partnerships, and Trading Leads from India in my case). I was given a topic and had to pitch it as a BDM would. Questions in this round were solely based on the presentation/pitch. This was followed by a panel interview, where the scope could be anything and everything - past work experience, aspirations with TTD, situational questions, and so on.

The initial recruiter chat was really helpful. They went over the org chart, what the company does, and the vibe. Overall, it was a decent experience. I had other offers though, so I stopped the process.
