Manager
It was a great interview with questions that got to the heart of things. The person leading it was nice and made it easy to talk about what I know and have done in the business. The vibe felt like family, with good people who really cared about what they do and how they do it.
- What drives your passion?
Director
It was a super long process, like 6+ interviews. Started with a screening, then a bunch of talks with the hiring manager, followed by three panel interviews. Then I had to chat with the hiring manager's boss. Most of the interviews weren't even related to the job posting, and everyone gave me different info. The last one was with a C-suite exec who just wanted to know about the company and my salary expectations, and they seemed annoyed by my questions because they didn't know much about the role. After all that, I got ghosted for a couple of weeks before getting a basic rejection email. It wasn't all bad because I liked the people, but it felt like a waste of my time since I'm already a senior-level manager. Honestly, 6+ interviews is just too much.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle a conflict situation with your direct reports?
Director
The interview process was very fair and respectful. The recruiter was great, very informative, and kept me updated throughout. The interviewer was prepared and made me feel comfortable.
- Can you outline your plans for the first 3, 6, and 9 months?
