It was a chill chat about my past experiences, really emphasizing research and working with people from other countries. They let me know during the chat that the research project I was supposed to look at hadn't even kicked off yet. Also, they weren't super clear on the paperwork needed to start working (they said it wasn't religious and was about international development, but then mentioned needing a church form to sign).

First, I had to fill out an application. Then, I went through an interview process with a licensed therapist. During the interview, I had to answer questions and also tour the site, which is an adult recovery center. They also wanted to see my report writing skills.
