The panel interview happened without a designated interviewer and no one adjusted to make sure it was well-managed. This made the interview feel unbalanced in structure and tone. The conversation really focused on accounting knowledge that didn't match the salary range advertised. The expectations they talked about seemed more like they were for a higher-level job than what they were paying. Also, it looked like this role was meant to take on a lot of the reporting Assistant Controller's work, which made me wonder about the job's clarity, what training would be like, and if it was sustainable. Basically, the interview process could have been better structured, with clearer links between the pay and what they expect, and more consistent interview standards.

Got the interview in a week after the job post. There was no phone screen, just a single on-site interview. All the questions were about my skills and experience, how much I knew about the company, and if I was a good fit for the position and company.
