The interview was super quick and basic, only about 10 minutes long. They didn't seem to have super high standards for experience or education. As someone who worked there before, you'd think they'd want a more selective group of people who are experts in what they do. They're mostly trying to hire college students who are impressed by $18/hour and won't argue with management.

I sent my resume back in November 2015 but it seems to have gotten lost. I never heard back, even though I thought I was super qualified. After about 6 weeks, I called the kitchen's direct line and talked to John G. He didn't even know who I was but invited me in for an interview. It felt like a really long and drawn-out process, honestly. It's like they struggle to sort through candidates effectively. I really had to fight hard just to get the interview, and now they really value what I do. It makes me wonder how many other great people might have been overlooked without us ever knowing.

The whole process was pretty smooth and happened quickly. The person I spoke with was really prepared and we had a great chat. I got a good feel for the company, the culture, and what it's like to work there. It definitely helped me figure out if this job was the right move for me.

I applied and then got a call for an interview. I was interviewed by three different executives. It was extremely easygoing. They have a great thing going on over there. The resort is beautiful and large, with lots of construction projects and new builds happening.
