I talked with the head of HR and a team member, even though I saw bad reviews. The interview was about an hour and felt like a casual chat. They mainly talked about the long hours and how repetitive the job is. It sounded like they were trying to explain away negative feedback from past employees. When I asked about career growth, they said there would be few openings for senior roles, so it could take a long time. There was no excitement, and they seemed to lack passion for the company. I didn't get any feedback but would have declined an offer anyway.

I found the job on LinkedIn and they contacted me within a week for an in-person interview. The interview itself was good, with both the Digital Marketing Officer and HR present. They asked relevant questions for the temporary Marketing Assistant role. After the interview, I had to complete a knowledge assessment to evaluate my suitability. I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week, but I didn't. When I followed up with HR, they informed me the position was on hold for unspecified reasons. It's been 1.5 months, and I still haven't heard anything definitive. It's puzzling why a temporary role would be put on hold, and that I had to initiate contact for this update.

So the first thing is a phone call with the HR Director. They'll ask you general stuff like your qualifications, passion, why you're applying and why you think you're a good fit. Then there's an online test, about an hour long. It starts with summarizing newspaper articles that have compliance issues, and then you translate some small articles into your native language. After that, you meet with the team manager who'll go over the daily tasks and what's expected of you in the first three months. They'll also talk about the good and bad parts of the job, focusing on the challenges like long hours and high turnover. Finally, you meet the Director of Due Diligence to discuss your potential contributions and how you can be valuable to the firm.

Got contacted by the HR manager two days after applying online. She was really nice and sent over some materials, including one test for Excel skills and another for translation and article reading & problem solving. I was given about a week to get the test back to her. She mentioned I'd be contacted if there were any further steps, but it seems like that's not going to happen.
