Account Manager
Honestly very disappointed in this company. I was recruited by a University Recruiter via LinkedIn to interview for a couple of the positions, where I was practically promised a career at TRR along with them telling me I should stop looking around for jobs, all of which seemed too good to be true. Everyone I spoke to was nice but after my third interview, the manager said someone would reach out to me after our interview, and they actually went completely ghost on me. I even sent them a follow-up email a week after I sent my thank you email post-interview and nothing! Super unprofessional and made me realize that I would never want to work for a company than openly does that to potential employees. Honestly happy it turned out this way, a true blessing in disguise. Would have had more respect for this company if they knew how to communicate properly.
- Can you share your background and experience with me?
- What's your strategy for staying organized?
- What attracts you to TRR and this specific role?
Account Manager
They email you to set up the interview and then when you get called you get asked lots of really good questions. Then towards the end you get asked if you have reliable transportation in order to do the job and then immediately pivot to ask you about travel and aren't very clear about what they mean in regards to travel. Then it's clarified that they have a policy that all new hires can not take any time off in the first 90 days without corporate approval. So if you have a preplanned trip planned nearly 2 years prior to the interview happening barely within the first 90 days, don't even bother going any further with the interview because you aren't going to move forward to the next tier of the process.
- Do you have reliable transportation for this role?
- Can you tell us about your travel experiences?
- Are you aware of the policy that new hires cannot take any time off during their first 90 days without corporate approval?
Account Manager
I had a phone screen with HR, then an in-person with one group manager about a week later. After that, I interviewed with the other group manager since they weren't available at the same time. I also interviewed in person with the regional manager. It was nice to meet my bosses and know it was a comprehensive decision. I also got to shadow a current Account Luxury Manager on an appointment, which helped me make sure the position was right for me, just as they were assessing if I was the right fit. I could ask more relevant questions to someone actually in the role.
- What drove your interest in fashion and sustainability?
