Pricing Analyst
My previous boss passed my resume to TPC's recruiter. After a 30 minute call with the recruiter where they asked baseline questions, I got passed to the VP of Analytics. I then had a 45 minute virtual interview with the VP of Analytics over Google Meet. The VP then scheduled an in-person interview for me in Louisville the next week. The in-person interview lasted about 3 hours. I got a tour of the office and warehouse, met one other person on the Analytics team, and then interviewed with the VP again to discuss a specific problem I would handle in the role. After the interview, I was offered the job and accepted, then we negotiated salary and start date.

Product Manager
I was contacted by TPC, who pitched me the role and company, telling me all the reasons why I should apply. They really emphasized a new, improved company culture, claiming old Glassdoor reviews were outdated. Trusting them, I updated my resume, researched, and applied. Before I could even talk to the hiring manager, they canceled my interview, stating they'd already found someone. Not only was this unprofessional and a waste of my time, but their old Glassdoor reviews seem to be spot on regarding company culture.

Backend Software Engineer
I applied and got a response really fast, like the next morning. I had a recruiter call set up for later that week, but they totally ghosted me! I had to chase them to reschedule. The rescheduled interview with the recruiter went okay, I think. They said the next step was talking to an engineer. But then it was crickets for a week, I had to keep bugging them for an update. They finally said a different recruiter would call me with an update. Two weeks went by with zero contact, then this second recruiter calls like we hadn't even spoken! I had to explain the whole thing over again. They promised to check my notes and get back to me. Surprise, surprise, I had to follow up AGAIN. They said they'd let me know. About an hour after that, I got a generic rejection email. The whole recruiting experience was a dumpster fire, hope it's not like that everywhere else. Also, the salary they mentioned was pretty low for a mid-level role.

Project Coordinator
I had a really great time interviewing with The Pro's Closet, probably one of the best I've had. Everyone was super professional and really seemed to love what they do. First, there was a phone screen, then I met the hiring manager in person and got a tour. The office was amazing and it was cool to meet the team. After that, I had virtual meetings with two other people from different departments. Even though I didn't get the job, the hiring manager called me to explain why, which I really appreciated since most places just send an email with no real feedback. Grateful for the chance to interview with them.
- Can you describe a challenging situation and how you managed it?
- How would you approach prioritizing tasks when you have multiple deadlines?
- Share an example of when you worked with different departments to reach a goal.
