Started with a phone screen where they went over my portfolio, and then a week later had an in person interview which included an office tour and chats with some principals.

The interview went well. The office is really nice and the people are very friendly. The firm is re-branding itself in every way, so it was exciting to see that change. overall the interview took around two hours and included a presentation of the firm and a tour.

I initially applied online through Linkedin, then emailed my resume to the recruiter as they requested. After checking in on my application, I was invited for an in-person interview at their Atlanta office. The whole process spanned about three weeks, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job. Once I followed up after the interview, the interviewer called me to break the news and explained why they went with someone else. I really appreciated their honesty about working there and explaining the decision. It was a pretty standard interview experience, and I'm thankful they considered me.

Behavioral Presentation

I interviewed with two Principals for this role. One was my direct hiring manager, and the other was there just to listen. The interview was about 30-45 minutes long. Make sure your portfolio is current and that you can talk about the projects in it. Bring extra copies of your resume too, just in case. Also, do your homework on the company beforehand and prepare some specific questions that show you've done your research and are interested. Don't ask anything that's already been covered. Pay attention to the conversation to figure out what kind of questions to ask. They mentioned during the interview that the job requires working more than the standard 40 hours per week, so it's good to be aware of that and comfortable with it from the start.
