Sales Service Manager
I applied online and got an assessment which I completed. My career advisor contacted them, and they confirmed they got my application and are reviewing it. I then got an email with interview times for the next day. When I arrived, I had to wait 10 minutes before the interviewer, who seemed very unwelcoming, started by asking about my most recent experience. When I started explaining, she interrupted to ask if I had hotel experience. I mentioned condo hotel experience, but she stated she didn't think I could do the job and ended the interview after 5 minutes. She seemed uninterested in what I had to say, was unprofessional, and clearly hadn't reviewed my resume, making it a waste of time.
- Can you discuss your most recent work experience?
Food and Beverage Manager
I applied and got a call back from a recruiter pretty quickly. In total, I talked to four different people during the process. The senior leaders seemed to really believe in the role and were very helpful. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and open about things.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What is something that frustrates you significantly?
- In your opinion, what qualities define the ideal candidate for this position?
