The first step was a phone call where they asked basic questions about my past experience and the tools I've used, and also why I'm the best fit for this role and if I enjoy testing. The second step was a video interview, but unfortunately, I wasn't selected to move forward.

So I talked to HR on the phone for about 30 minutes, then I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, another team member, and someone else from HR. It was a pretty typical interview for this kind of job. I really liked my chats and was actually bummed when I didn't get the job. The whole process felt fair given what they asked for. My only issue was how incredibly slow everything was. I've been looking for a job a lot this past year, so I know hiring can be slow, but this was way beyond that. The first HR call was supposed to happen, but they completely missed it. I emailed, they apologized a lot and rescheduled, and that kind of set the tone. It got to the point where I had another offer I had to respond to, and they were just silent. I emailed them to let them know I had to take my other offer because they weren't getting back to me (I was unemployed after being laid off, so I couldn't afford to wait). They sent a generic email saying they were moving on with other candidates after three weeks of no replies to emails or calls after my final interview. I get that maybe they weren't ready to decide, but they could have at least replied to let me know. It's really tough being on the candidate side with all the ghosting, silence, and long gaps between interviews. A quick, simple reply would mean a lot.

Submitted an online application and then received an email from HR to arrange a Zoom interview. I suggested some available times, and they sent me a meeting invitation for the following week. The interview lasted about 25 minutes, and I was told I'd hear about next steps within a few days. I found out I wasn't selected to move forward in 2-3 days.

It was quick and to the point. They asked about points on my license and then I took a tour of the facility. They also asked about any criminal history and said that they will do a background check and drug test. Most of the process was waiting on the test to be done, so it is easy and quick. Expect to hear back from them within a week or so.
