A Senior Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn regarding a role I'm well-suited for and requested a time for an interview. After a communication gap, the recruiter apologized for the delay. I provided my availability, but never heard back. This ghosting is highly unprofessional, especially when contacting people and asking them to schedule time, only to behave this way. It's particularly contradictory for a DEI position, going against DEI strategies for both clients and staffing agencies.

I got contacted right after posting my resume and they sent me 3 assessments. I scored pretty well on them, and then I got a call to go over my resume, but it felt like they hadn't even looked at it. After that, they said I'd come in to do the assessments again on their computers and have a walkthrough. But then, the next day, they called and said my resume wasn't good enough for them.
